Interactive game ‘NAO Says’

With what objective was the game ‘NAO Says’ developed and how was it used?
The interactive group game ‘NAO Says’ was used for the first time during the Long Night of Science in June 2022.
The ‘NAO says’ application was developed to enable playful interactions with the humanoid robot NAO and was inspired by the popular imitation game ‘Simon says’. The game ‘Simon says’ is focused on playful interactions in a group of players who follow the command ‘Simon says’ while performing a series of playful mini-activities. The activities include various physical, cognitive and social aspects of play involving language and movement.
The game ‘NAO says’ consists of a series of playful mini-activities that include movement-related and cognitive tasks. During the game, players are asked by the NAO robot to follow it only when they hear the command ‘NAO says’.
In total, the ten mini-activities used in the game ‘NAO Says’ were: (1) Gorilla, (2) Elephant, (3) Air guitar, (4) Saxophone, (5) Take a photo, (6) Stand on one leg, (7) Rub belly and pat on head, (8) Wave arms above head, (9) Smile and (10) Maths.
