The Double 3 Robot is an advanced telepresence device developed by Double Robotics. It combines self-balancing technology with rich audio-visual transmission to enable remote presence.
Equipped with a camera, speakers and a microphone, the Double 3 allows users to virtually move and interact in another location as if they were present in person. With its user-friendly interface, the robot can be controlled via a smartphone, tablet or computer, effectively overcoming the hurdles of physical distance.
Use Double3
As a telepresence robot, the Double3 does not need to be programmed and is ready for immediate use. You can easily request its use from us (see contact person).
A visitor link can be created in advance, which a person can use to connect to the double. This ‘operator’ then has access to the robot's camera and microphone signal. The robot can also be controlled using the keyboard or the camera image. Height adjustment is also possible. The operator can invite up to 4 other people, who can also connect to the double, but have no control options; these remain with the operator.
It is possible to add another image to the camera image that the operator receives by connecting a smartphone to the robot to show the operator areas that are difficult for the robot to access.
